About Us
 

Dru and Scott Cone have been married for 35 years and are both graduates of Texas A&M University. They have two sons, Cullen and Carson. Cullen graduated from Texas A&M University in 2013 and Carson graduated from Texas Christian University in 2014. Both Cullen and Carson now reside in Houston, Texas.
 
The Cone Family's love for the outdoors has always had a tremendous influence on the decision to take ownership of a ranch in South Texas. While Houston remains the Cone's permanent residence, Las Palmas has become a home away from home. Rich with tradition, Las Palmas is a place to share special times with friends and family, especially by the fire pit, where the stars shine bright and many great stories have been told. 

Our ranch manager, Brad DeLaup, and wife Heather are also Texas A&M graduates, both having degrees in Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences. Needless to say, there is no shortage of love and expertise for the outdoors and wildlife between the two of them. If you are looking for hospitality, you'll find it here with these two at the reins!!
